week 7

Assalamualaikum .. and hai everyone here ..

Now we are in week 7 .
welcome stress week ..week 7 are full with the test and assignment but i still remember to update my fyp blog .
You all have eaten ??
eat me,,eat mee...😋

just kidding

As i mention before , i already done survey about the hardware for this project ..
in this week , i want to explain about the first hardware in this project which is ??

Arduino Uno R3..

The Arduino Uno R3 is a microcontroller board based on a removable, dual-inline-package (DIP) ATmega328 AVR microcontroller. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs and 6 can be used as analog inputs). Programs can be loaded on to it from the easy-to-use Arduino computer program. The Arduino has an extensive support community, which makes it a very easy way to get started working with embedded electronics. The R3 is the third, and latest, revision of the Arduino Uno.

The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs and 6 can be used as analog inputs), a 16 MHz resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an in-circuit system programming (ICSP) header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable .

The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip. Instead, it features an ATmega16U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. This auxiliary microcontroller has its own USB bootloader, which allows advanced users to reprogram it.
Then ..

The Arduino has  an extensive set of support libraries and hardware add-on “shields” making it a great introductory platform for embedded electronics.

This is the 3rd revision of the Uno (R3), which has a number of changes:
1.        The USB controller chip changed from ATmega8U2 (8K flash) to ATmega16U2 (16K flash). This does not increase the flash or RAM available to sketches.
·     2.    Three new pins were added, all of which are duplicates of previous pins. The I2C pins (A4, A5) have been also been brought out on the side of the board near AREF. There is a IOREF pin next to the reset pin, which is a duplicate of the 5V pin.
·       3.  The reset button is now next to the USB connector, making it more accessible when a shield is used.

From my survey , i decided to use this type of  arduino in my project because it fullfil my perspect i need in my project and the price is  around RM 150.
Furthermore ,this type of arduino are suggested from my SV because its easy to use and easy to program,

thats all for this week ....

.......salam 1 malaysia ......

week 6

hai haii everyone , time feel like its flying....

In this week , i already meet my supervisor ( En zubir bin Suboh )
and discussed  about my project . My SV advice me to search about the hardware needed in this project .

So in this week ,i'm already settled to search and read about each hardware needed in my project ..
Now, i explain the hardware used for my project

System Specification
The hardware required as folllow:
  • Arduino Uno R3
  • Wifi Module
  • PH sensor
  • Temperature sensor
  • Turbidity sensor
The hardware listed in this week  are same with the block diagram as i mention before in week 4.
So , my job in this week are settled list the all hardware given and survey usage of each hardware and their price also ...

so , see u nex week guys.. dont forget to see progress on the following week..

week 5

hai everyone .. hope you all in a good health ..

For this week which is week 4 , i will be explain about block diagram of my project .

Development of water quality monitoring system by using IOT ( Internet of Things )

The figure above shows the block diagram of the project .

Explanation .

The picture shows the block  diagram of my project . There is arduino ,and three sensors which is PH sensor, turbidity and temperature .
Besides ,in this block diagram also the arduino was connected to wifi module then the result of water parameters was display at LCD

Week 4

okey guys , for the last post i will be explained about my intro of FYP project , then the introduction and the explanation about my project .

Soooo.. what can i say now , my project title FYP project is water quality monitoring by using IOT .

For this week ,i will be explain about the AIM and the OBJECTIVE of my project .

👉AIM .

1.To develop the system which monitors water quality parameter using sensors.
2.To design the system which store the measured parameter and displays those parameter on any device which has internet facility .

👉OBJECTIVE
1.To monitor water quality in real time to ensure safe supply of water
2.To monitor water quality by measuring various water quality parameters such as conductivity, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen
3.To perform real time water quality monitoring by using internet of things (IOT)

Week 3

1) what is IOT ( Internet of Things )
For this week , i will be explained about IOT ??

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

IoT has evolved from the convergence :-

wireless technologies
- micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS)
microservices and the internet.
- helped tear down the silo walls between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT)
-allowing unstructured machine-generated data to be analyzed for insights that will drive improvements.

As conclusion for topic in this week ,

IOT is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet . This includes everything from cellphones, coffee makers, washing machines, headphones, lamps, wearable devices and almost anything else you can think of.  This also applies to components of machines, for example a jet engine of an airplane or the drill of an oil rig. As I mentioned, if it has an on and off switch then chances are it can be a part of the IoT. So, i can say that   The IoT is a giant network of connected "things" (which also includes people).  The relationship will be between people-people, people-things, and things-things.

okey.. thats all for this week, see u guys next week ..

WEEK 2

water

Introduction of water quality

What is water quality ??
💗 Water quality is the measure of biology, chemical and physical characteristics of water .

Nowdays, The water is very useful , limited and act as essential resource for industry, agriculture, and all the creatures existing on the earth including human being and so on . So , any imbalance or pollution  in water quality would severely affect the health of the humans, animals and also affect the ecological balance among species .

The problem now is ??👈
There were lots of development in the world  , but at the same time it  caused  pollutions, global warming and so on , because of this there is no safe drinking water for the world’s population. The drinking water is more precious ,important then  valuable for all the human beings so the quality of water should be monitored in real time. This step are very important to make sure the quality of water are kept up all time.
